Week ending June 12

We’re glad to hear that Tammy and Steve had such a nice time. This week we had our house appraised in the process for refinancing and Eric cleaned the garage. We attended a benefit dinner that a family in our ward held for one of their family members diagnosed with a gloom outlook cancer. They had dutch oven dinner and some carnival games and horse rides to raise money. Abby played a few of the games and Sarah expressed desire to ride a horse. We were worried that we would wait in the long line and when it was our turn Sarah would change her mind. Sarah surprised us all when she willingly sat on the saddle by herself and held on for the two lap ride. She was so proud of herself and has stated “I rode a horse ..self” several times.

Abby enjoyed having her cousin Hannah play and stay the night this week. They watched movies, enjoyed snacks and told bedtime stories way past bedtime. They had fun and enjoyed each other’s company.

We will be going to Cheyenne at the end of this week and are looking forward to spending time with family and enjoying Frontier Days.

Sounds like the girls had fun at the dinner. Do you have any photos of Sarah riding the horse? That would be fun to see.

Sorry Shauna, we didn't think to bring our camera.
