Dear Family,
We had a pretty basic week. One bit of sad news we got is that our dear babysitter will stop tending children at the end of the school year. So, we’ll have to find some new arrangements for Sarah next school year. Abby will be in first grade and won’t need daycare anymore, which is a blessing. On February 19 Abby and Eric went to a Daddy Daughter ball sponsored by the school PTA. Abby was very apprehensive at first. We finally discovered it was because she didn’t want to go on a date with Daddy. She knew her aunts Teresa and Diana went on dates with boys and she didn’t want to do that. We quickly explained that date just means to spend time with Daddy and she would have fun dancing to music and eating cookies and punch. They went and had a great time.

Abby is already going on dates. She is getting so big.
