This week was very busy, as always. Thursday was especially busy. Abby had her last day of Preschool and they went on a field trip fishing in a private pond. Grandpa Ewell had the privilege of going with Abby on the field trip. He overcame his fear of fish just for Abby and it sounds like they had a great time. Abby even caught a fish. We’ve attached a picture we took of her with the fish today. She didn’t want to eat it, so unless Eric eats it soon, it will end up in the trash. Abby was very excited about catching it and spending time with Grandpa.

Eric and I both had senior award night at our schools on Thursday, so Samantha kindly watched the girls and Steve and Tammy stayed the night with us on their stopover to Idaho. We enjoyed the visit despite the craziness of the day.

Sarah has her cough back these last few days. She loves following Abby. Abby had her first dance class this past Wednesday for her short spring dance class. Sarah wanted to be out on the floor with Abby so much. Sarah danced and danced on the sideline while we waited for and watched Abby. Sarah also loves to go with Abby to the neighbors to play.

Our garden is really sprouting up. I can’t believe how big the potato plants are. I only hope the potatoes they are growing are getting big too. It’s so fun to see the plants grow and produce from all the labor. The planter boxes we did this year have really made a difference so far.

We were able to go to the Spanish Fork Cemetery tonight. I have many relatives buried there and it was nice to have Abby be old enough that she understood a little bit about what the cemetery was and why we were there. We also visited the veteran’s area and it was heartwarming to have Abby ask why there were so many flags.

We hope you all enjoyed your weekend.

I hope you have thrown away that fish by now. It looks like Abby had fun.
